    General Responsibilities:

    Active fundraising, regularly attends board meetings in accordance with by-laws, committee meetings, special events, and more. Accepts assignments and completes tasks competently and punctually. Stays informed about issues confronting the organization, including financial, political, and legal. Represents the agency in the community and builds a collegial working relationship with other Board members that contribute to the consensus.

    • Board Meetings- monthly attendance, 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30. 

    • Committee Meetings- monthly attendance.  

    • Special events- held approximately three times per year.   

    • Board Officer- monthly attendance Executive Committee.  

Animal Shelter Foundation

  • The Animal Shelter Foundation (ASF) is a non-profit organization created by volunteers to support the animals in the care of Tallahassee Animal Services.
